Project Overview

Incorp Industries was chosen to play a crucial role in the development of the groundbreaking LanzaJet Freedom Pines Fuels project. This pioneering initiative aims to establish the world’s first ethanol-to-Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) plant, positioned as a significant leap forward in fully commercializing Alcohol-to-Jet technology. The facility, located in Soperton, GA., is set to produce 10 million (US) gallons of SAF annually, with a focus on sourcing low-carbon ethanol for SAF and renewable diesel production.

Objective

The primary objective entrusted to Incorp was to deliver comprehensive heat conservation and personal protection solutions for approximately 20,876 linear feet of piping and 9,643 square feet of equipment. The scope of work included critical tasks such as scaffolding, heat trace installation, insulation installation, and the implementation of personnel protection guards. The insulation materials ranged from mineral wool to aerogel, with custom-made guards featuring lagging types of stainless steel and aluminum.

Application

Incorp’s selection for this project was driven by an aggressive timeline and a track record of successfully completing safe, high-quality projects. With an urgent need, Navisworks was utilized for estimating man-hours and materials, despite having limited drawings issued at the time. The scope of work was meticulously planned and executed to ensure compliance with the demanding schedule.

Result

Incorp's progress is currently at 38%, and notably, there have been no incidents reported, underlining the company's commitment to safety and quality. The project's success is attributed not only to Incorp’s technical expertise but also to its ability to adapt to the urgency of the situation and deliver results efficiently.

As the LanzaJet Freedom Pines Fuels project moves towards its anticipated launch in early 2024, Incorp's contribution stands as a testament to the company's capability to provide innovative solutions for complex industrial challenges.
